Chandigarh | September 1, 2025 — Punjab continues to battle devastating floods, with 1,312 villages across multiple districts inundated , according to revenue, rehabilitation and disaster management minister Hardeep Singh Mundian . The Gurdaspur district has been hit the hardest , with 324 villages under water , followed by Kapurthala (123 villages) .
